What: Annual International Salon for Decorative Painters
Details: Yaeko Kurimata will host this year's SALON in Tokyo, a gathering of over 100 of the best international Decorative
Painters & Artisans. For a week, the extremely creative SALON participants who are experts in
trompe l’oeil, gilding, faux bois, marble and scagliola will display their work and demonstrate
their creative skills to each other and the people of Japan. Artisans will also present lectures discussing
some of their recent projects.
Tokyo, Japan, is one of the most interesting places in the world to explore unique cultures
and arts on your own. Salon Tokyo will include exciting opportunities to share thoughts and techniques
with Japanese painters who specialize in theaters, commercial painting and public murals and you can
also join in making traditional crafts with Japanese artisans.
