The HV'Art Advanced Additive Adhesion Crosslinker (HVCRADH 1%) is an optional additive that can be used to promote adhesion directly to glass, gold leaf, or other slick non-porous surfaces.
It can also be used to double-crosslink coatings already blended with HVCRHRD Hardener, to achieve optimum possible durability results.

Ensure all external materials in contact with the coating system, such as putty, adhesive tapes, sealants, and cleaners, are tested for compatibility by the user to avoid any adverse reactions.

For optimal results and a durable bond, allow the primer mixture to cure for 24 hours after application.
Prep & Application
Application
Add the HV’ART Advanced adhesion crosslinker by blending very well with a mechanical mixer. Use the product within 3 hours after adding the hardener. Do not use the remaining product after such a time. On application, the temperature of the product, the substrate, the coating and the working environment should never fall below 15°C.

Add the additive slowly and under mechanical mixing. When the crosslinker is used in coating systems with quick drying time, the quantity of product to be used must be decided after performing tests on the system and based on the user’s application.
Pre-Thinning Dosage:
5% by volume of base material, after pre-thinning (see below)
Thinning:
Dilute 1 part HVCRADH with 5 parts water immediately before use.
Application:
The coating mixture containing additive should be used immediately after preparation and used within 12 hours.
Double Cross-Linking:
In the case of using both additives, they shall be added one after the other following the above order, slowly and under constant stirring.
Drying:
- Recommended temperature – 20°C
- Relative humidity – 45-65%.
