Golden Paintworks® Soapstone Tint Base is the foundation for creating our Soapstone Pre-Tinted colors, as well as custom tinting in the studio or jobsite. Its versatile nature allows it to be intermixed with other decorative products for creating a truly unique finish. Soapstone can be mixed with pre-tinted flat architectural paint to create a color, or use controlled colorants or pigment dispersions. When trowel applied, it exhibits a subtle movement of color across the surface with little to no sheen. It contains no Titanium Dioxide so colors are rich and vibrant. A great product for producing dimensional ornament without cracking. When dry, it has ample holdout for over-glazing, painting or additional layers of Texture. Available in Quart & Gallon sizes.
- Silky-bodied plaster that dries to a matte, semi-translucent finish. Effortless lived-in look that nods to European traditions.
- Trowel applied product for wall applications.
- Create an embossed look though a stencil! Formulated resistance to cracking for thicker applications.
- Non color product. Tints with flat-finish architectural paints or universal colorants. Can be tinted to a wide range of rich colors.
- Pro Tip:For additional visual interest, finish with layers of tinted Golden Paintworks Glazing Gel.
Disclaimer: Best tinted or painted over. Any natural aggregate will vary in shade and size. Aggregate can have chemical reactions and cause a variation in color or hue.
